Horse d’oeuvre


Braised scallops with bacon, ruccola and red wine sauce

Ingredients:

1 Scallop
1 pice of bacon
A little ruccola salad
Redwine sauce (se oppskrift)

Step by step

First you make the red wine sauce.
Then you braise the scallops on middle heat in butter, in 2-3 minutes on each side, until they have a nice golden color. Then you frie the bacon until it’s crispy. Cut the bacon in 4 on the longest side, so you get 4 long juliennes.
Put a little topping of the ruccola on a plate, then you take the scallop on the top of the salad, then you take the bacon and put in crossed over the scallop. Take a thin stripe of red wine sauce around the salad.

Ingredients:

4 piceses filet of pork
8 skive bacon
1 ts salt
½ ts pepper
2 ss butter
1 ss olive oil
8 tomatoes
4 potatoes


Step by step :


1. Whire the baconpices around the the steaks and fasten them with toothpicks. Then you salt and pepper the steaks, and brush them with oil.

2. On the grill: Grill the steaks quick on each side on intense heat. Then you turn down the heat on the grill, and then let the them rest 6-8 minutes.

In fryingpan: Brown the steaks on each side on intense heat in the frying pan, turn down the heat and let the steaks rest for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Serveres med kremet spinat og stekte tomater.


Sautèd spinach

Clean the spinach. Wash it in (ice)cold water. Dry it.

When you start you got to have a hot pan. Lay a good spoon butter in the pan. Put the spinach in and stir around in approximately 30sek. Done, Finished.


Gratinated tomato

First you wash the tomatoes, then you cut them in half. Fry them in a pan with some butter or olive oil. Strew the cheese over and put them in the oven/stove, wait until the cheese has melted or have a golden brown color.

Baked potato

But the oven on 200 °C. Wrap up the potaoes in foil. Put the potatoes in the oven/stove. It takes about an hour dependent of the size of the potatoes.

Portions: 4

Ingredients:

4 Green apples

Stuffing:
100 g cottage cheese
Teared skin of one whole orange
¼ ts carnation
ca. 1 ½ ss sugar after taste
1 dl pressed orange juice


Step by step:

Take out the core on the apples and put the apples in a buttered fireproof mold. Stir the cottage cheese, the teared skin of a orange and the carnation together. Taste it in with sugar. Distribute the stuffing over the apples. Pour fresh orange juice over them. And Into the oven/stove. 175°C, in 20-30 min.

Served with whipped cream or vanilla icecream.
